Fire Officials Respond To Garage Fire In Newhall

Los Angeles County Fire Department officials responded to a garage fire in Newhall Sunday afternoon.

At approximately 1:10 p.m., LACoFD officials received multiple reports of a structure fire at the 25000 block of Atwood Boulevard in Newhall.

The fire originated in a garage structure separate from the nearby houses. Fire officials responded in a matter of minutes, and were able to successfully contain the fire in less than an hour, according to LACoFD officials.

The origin of the fire is unknown as of Sunday afternoon. No injuries were reported.
