Firefighters knocked down a 1.25 acre Canyon Country brushfire without incident Saturday night, with no injuries or property damage reported.

The initial report came in as 2-acre fire, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Firefighters arrived on scene around 8:25 p.m., with some brush near the 18700 block of Goodvale Road, in Santa Clarita.
While the report came in as “2 acres, running uphill, with winds at 15 mph,” officials said, once on scene the estimate was scaled back.
Fire officials said the incident was considered under control at 9:02 p.m., and extinguished a short time later.
