Around 4:15 p.m. Thursday, first responders received reports of a vehicle fire that spread to the brush, according to Marvin Lim, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“Three vehicles were on fire that spread to the brush,” Lim said.
Despite the brush catching fire, crews were able to knockdown the small brush fire quickly, Lim said.
The eastbound lanes of Soledad Canyon Road are temporarily shut down while crews work to extinguish the vehicle fire, according to officials.
