Former BoneFish Grill Site Floods

The site of the recently-closed BoneFish Grill at the Westfield Valencia Town Center was flooded Saturday morning, less than two weeks after the restaurant closed its doors.

Fire officials received a report of flooding at the Westfield Valencia Town Center mall at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, according to Supervisor Flores of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they discovered that the former BoneFish Grill site was flooded, and began working to contain the water, according to officials.

Supervisor Flores was unable to name a cause for the flooding as of 12:50 p.m. Saturday.

BoneFish Grill closed its doors suddenly on August 13, without any notice for its guests.

The only other BoneFish Grill in California is located in the city of Tustin in Orange County, according to the company website.

KHTS reached out to the Valencia location for further comment however, phone calls were redirected by a message from the restaurant chain.

“Thank you for calling Bonefish Grill, this location is permanently closed,” said an automated voice message.

BoneFish Grill is a contemporary grill chain that specializes in seasonal fresh fish options among other varieties, according to the company website.
