Santa Clarita Road Closures Issued Due To Possible Mudslides

Road closures in the Santa Clarita Valley have been issued by county officials due to the possibility of mudslides in the area.

Los Angeles County Public Works has issued the following Road Closure Alerts based on current storm forecasts and potential high intensity rainfall.

Road Closures:

Location: Angeles National Forest, Unincorporated – Kagel/Lopez Canyons, Los Angeles – Lakeview Terrace: Little Tujunga Canyon Road, Osborne St to Sand Canyon Road
Status: Road Closed
Reason: Closed Due To Storm Activity
Close Date: 01/08/18
Estimated Open Date: TBD

Location: Angeles National Forest, City Of Santa Clarita: Sand Canyon Road, Bear Divide Rd to Placerita Canyon Road
Status: Road Closed
Reason: Closed Due To Storm Activity
Close Date: 01/08/18

All designated roads will reopen once conditions permit.
