Santa Clarita Valley golfers are invited to the College of the Canyons Foundation’s 20th annual charity golf tournament in support of education on September 13 at the Valencia Country Club.
Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the COC men and women’s golf teams and hockey club team, while supporting the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to provide increased educational opportunities for students and community members of all ages.
Student athletes often pursue higher education as a result of their passion for a specific sport, only to find themselves fulfilled by the academic programs and educational opportunities in school.
The cost of attending school is one of the greatest barriers students will face on their educational journey. In response, the Foundation has continually worked to provide more opportunities for an affordable and accessible college education for all those with the desire to succeed.
