SCV Invaded by Butterflies

Commonly known as “painted ladies,” these butterflies have been coming out as the temperatures warm up….

These migrating insects travel in excess of 40 miles per hour, as you may be able to tell as they come head on to your windshield on the 14 freeway!

You can hear more about butterflies, other insects and nature on the Hometown Morning Show with Wendy Langhans on Friday morning at 7:10 a.m. on KHTS.
