“SCV Jazz & Blues Music Festival had a great night last night with the Swon Brothers, had about 1500 people in attendance,” said John Heys, director of the SCV Jazz & Blues Festival.

Local Santa Clarita residents poured into the event to listen to award-winning music.

“A lot of people who didn’t make the show are going to be really sad that they didn’t make it because it was awesome,” Heys said.

Several local food and drink vendors came to the event including, Philly Gourmet Ice, Cassie’s Kitchen, Cold Stone, Bud Light, and Wolf Creek.

“Today we open up with more Blues, Jazz and Rock ‘N’ Roll,” Heys said. “We’re expecting about 1500 people here on Saturday.”

Jazz, Blues, and Rock ‘N’ Roll were played by artists including: Gerald Albright, Paul Jackson, Jr., Eric Darius, Teresa James & The Rhythm Tramps, Jazzy Boy Jeff Harris, Alan Wright Band, Darius Shipp, and The Blue Baron Band.

“This is the third annual festival and we hope to continue this in the future,” Heys said.
