The nonprofit, which has been serving the Santa Clarita Valley for 30 years, has a heart for people in crisis, regardless of their age, race, income, nationality, religious affiliation or circumstances.

The center is a licensed medical clinic that provides engaging and comprehensive counseling services while delivering relevant medical services to those facing unplanned pregnancy and sexual health decisions. In addition, the Center offers  STI testing and treatment, pregnancy confirmations, same-day appointments, sexual health education, HIV screenings and life skills education.

To meet the demands of the growing valley population, the Center purchased a new clinic space currently under construction. The facility is expected to be finished Spring 2018. To minimize construction costs, the Center received a large matching grant for $250,000 from local Santa Clarita family, who wishes to remain anonymous.

“SCV Pregnancy Center offers more than pregnancy testing & ultrasounds. My wife and I have watched first-hand how the Center loves and serves our community.” said the anonymous donor. “We invite others to join our efforts and help the Center move into their new space debt free.”

Residents can follow SCV Pregnancy Center on Facebook and Twitter, where construction updates will be shared as the campaign culminates on Giving Tuesday (28 th November). Community members interested in making a tax-deductible financial gift to the SCV Pregnancy Center can visit their Foundations for Life donation page.  Each dollar donated will be doubled during the Matching Campaign timeline.

“The needs of our community are greater than when our doors first opened 30 years ago. This Matching Grant gift is an astonishing birthday gift.” said Angela Bennett, CEO of the SCV Pregnancy Center. “We urgently need our community’s support and help match every dollar!”
