Add Flair To Your Kitchen

800px-KuchniaSometimes it isn’t enough to paint your kitchen and buy new towels to give it the look you want. Whether your style is European or Country Home it may be time to replace your cabinets and add some flair to your kitchen.

Replacing or re-staining cabinets is the fastest way to achieve the style you want in your kitchen. A simple change in design and color can make a big difference in the look of the room.

To achieve a European style, go for cabinets that have doors that conceal most of the cabinet frame or box. Hinging is also usually concealed. Look for solid panel doors that have vertical grains and repeated patterns and color tones. Think sleek and modern with this look.

If you want to achieve that Country Home style then look for distressed cabinets displaying well worn edges and layered finishes. Using lots of open shelving and cabinets that are created to look like individual pieces of furniture will add to the casual country theme. You can even combine cabinets of different yet complimentary colors.

“We do kitchen design as well as selling cabinets. If a client is unsure of what they are looking for we have different samples on display. Sometimes clients will bring in pictures, and we can pretty much duplicate anything,” Steven Lenenberg owner of Canyon Kitchen and Bath said.
