Create The Best View Outdoors

You can squeeze out some square footage in an outdoor space to create an inviting outdoor room.

In today’s article, I invite you to give some thoughtful consideration to the view you want to enjoy from that space.

When selecting where to position your outdoor room.  Think about the view you want to force for your seating area.  Placing all the furniture against the wall of the house, is not necessarily the best choice if the view you create is looking at a neighbor or the street.

If you have a lovely garden to enjoy, consider positioning the outdoor room to express the view of that garden.

PLAY YOUR STRENGTHS

Position the patio or outdoor space to provide a good view of the longest stretch of the yard.

USE VERTICAL SPACE

Think about adding a riser for your patio to give a change in elevation.  By doing so, the entire yard will actually feel larger, and the outdoor room will be clearly defined by the changed floor surface.

Outdoor rooms are one of my highest requested services in the summer months.  I would love to help you start enjoying fine outdoor living.  Please call me at (661) 430-0127
