You can create your garden getaway with a few simple items and plants.

You will want to find a secluded spot in your yard maybe toward the back or near a corner. Using shrubbery, you can create your own secret garden by growing living walls.

You can create your living wall using a variety of Azaleas, Blackhaw Viburnum, or Rose of Sharon. These shrubs—if allowed to grow can easily create a dense wall for your garden.

You will want to fill your chosen space with ground cover and flowers, perhaps even a small tree. Ground cover will give your garden a lush look and flowers can add that pop of color.

Add a garden bench or a couple of chairs. You can even add a small birdbath or fountain to your secret spot.
