SCV Youth Project Encourages Residents To Go ‘All In’

poker_chipsThe SCV Youth Project is asking community members to register now for its fourth annual Hold ‘Em Not Hassle ‘Em Poker Tournament, which takes place October 23 at the Tournament Players Club in Valencia.  

All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the organization, which provides free peer mentoring, crisis intervention, support groups and outreach to teenagers on junior and senior high school campuses throughout the Santa Clarita Valley.

Those who register before September 15 can buy in for $100; those who do so after will pay $125.  

While the winner of the tournament will certainly receive the satisfaction of contributing to an important cause, this person will also be sent to the World Series of Poker with a $1,500 entry.
