Search And Rescue Gets Two Vehicles

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Booster Club donates all-terrain vehicles for search & rescue.  

 
[view:node_ad=5]On behalf of the Sheriff’s Department, the Board of Supervisors has unanimously accepted the donation of two 2007 Yamaha Grizzly, 450cc, all-terrain vehicles from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Booster Club, announced Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich. 
 
The two all terrain vehicles, valued at $13,805.99, will be used by the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station personnel to search for lost/missing individuals in the rugged terrain that surrounds the Santa Clarita Valley area. 
 
The Executive Officer of the Board of Supervisors will send a letter of appreciation to John Price, President of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Booster Club, for the generous donation.
