This year, they’re bringing back Comics for the Cause on Tuesday, August 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center.
The audience will enjoy performances from Billy Gardell, from CBS’ “Mike and Molly;” Jon Reep, winner of “Last Comic Standing” and Ralph Harris of Comedy Central.
Jeff Sutphen, host of ABC’s “101 Ways to Leave a Game Show” and Nickelodeon’s “Figure It Out” will host the evening.
Kim Goldman, executive director of the Project said that she was able to get performers for the fundraiser through personal connections, simply by asking.
“You forget that people do nice things when you ask them to,” she said.
Tickets to the event are $50 or $65 depending on where you sit in the auditorium. Tickets to a special “meet and greet” VIP party at 6 p.m. are also available for $35.
Tickets can be purchased directly through the Performing Arts Center website.
