Sheriff’s officials are looking for a suspect in an aggravated assault on a 67-year-old man that occurred Sunday night on Bouquet Canyon Road.
According Lt. Brenda Cambra, the victim was driving in the area of Bouquet and Seco Canyon Roads shortly after 9:30 p.m. when he told deputies he “accidentally cut off a vehicle while making a lane change.”
He said the driver of the car affected signaled for him to pull over, which he did. According to the victim, as he was getting out of his car, the driver of the other vehicle began yelling and punching him in the chest.

After hitting the victim several times with his fists, the suspect went back to his car and left the scene. Cambra said that the victim approached a bystander and asked for them to call for help. He was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released.
The victim was able to give deputies a license plate number, but not a description of the car. The suspect is described as a male Caucasian, 5’ 8” in height, weighing 170-180 pounds and between 25 to 30 years of age.
