Non-profit organizations will gather to share their missions to serve the community and recruit volunteers.
Attending non-profits were handpicked by College of the Canyons faculty to correlate with some of the students’ career goals. Students may then get the chance to volunteer in a field that interests them.
“This is a great way for our students to put into practice what they have learned in the classroom while also giving back to the community,” said Kimberle Arredondo, Service-Learning technician and event organizer.
The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.
