Sheriff Needs Your Help In Finding Person Of Interest

Man sought for questioning in Canyon Country forgery incidents.

 

Detectives from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station burglary and theft team are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man being sought for questioning in connection with two incidents of forgery at liquor stores in Canyon Country.

Both incidents occurred Friday, June 6 in the 18000 block of Soledad Canyon Country, at Canyon Market and H&J Liquor Store, between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. In two separate incidents, the man allegedly entered the stores and passed forged checks using fake or forged identification.

The man is described as Hispanic, 25-30 years old, 5’8” to 5’10” tall,  160-180 pounds, with dark hair, a mustache, goatee and bushy eyebrows. To read the law enforcement bulleting pertaining to these cases, visit www.scvsheriff.com and click on SCV Sheriff Special Bulletins.
