Detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a man who was found dead near Pyramid Lake.

The man’s body was reported Saturday, and officials began investigating the circumstances of the death shortly after 5:30 p.m.

As of Sunday, the identity of the man is unknown. The investigation is ongoing.
