Antoine Williams, 24, was arrested Thursday on resisting arrest and indecent exposure charges.
Mall-goers and nearby businesses reported to Sheriff’s Station officials Thursday that Williams was allegedly exposing himself near the video game arcade where children hang out at the Westfield Valencia Town Center.
Deputies responded to the mall, where Williams allegedly exposed himself, and attempted to detain him.
Williams resisted arrest and attempted to fight with deputies, according to Sheriff’s Station officials at the time of the incident.
Williams was led from the mall by Sheriff’s Station deputies and booked at the Sheriff’s Station in lieu of $30,000 bail, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department arrest records.
He faces a maximum sentence of 18 months in jail if he’s convicted of the charges for which he was arraigned.
Willams was in court Friday, when he faced preliminary arraignment.
He’s being held at Men’s Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles.
He’s due back in court July 24.
