“Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies conduct these probation checks regularly to make sure probationers are in compliance with the terms and conditions of their probation,” said Deputy Josh Dubin of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. “It’s part of our ongoing, proactive efforts to serve the community.”

Deputies found narcotics paraphernalia and methamphetamine at Soper’s residence on the 49600 block of 259th Street West, according to a Sheriff’s Station’s Nixle report.

Jacobs was found to be in compliance with the terms of his probation; however, he was arrested by deputies at his residence on the 50200 block of 255th Street West for an outstanding felony burglary warrant

“These types of operations and others just like it will continue throughout the year to ensure that convicted criminals remain in compliance,” the Nixle release stated.
