The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Association is scheduled to host their annual benefit concert that will feature a mix of country and comedy on June 4 at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center, according to a press release from the SCV Sheriff Foundation.

Direct from Nashville, country and western singer Tanya Tucker will perform along with comedian and actor Tom Arnold, who will act as “Master of Ceremonies.”

All ticket purchases are tax deductible, and all proceeds will fund the SCV Sheriff’s youth and volunteer programs, its Search & Rescue team, and the needs of the deputies who make the community a safer place to live.

Doors will open at the Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons at 5 p.m. for the Saturday evening event. In the lobby there will be complimentary cheese and cracker platters to snack on while guests “pony up” to the no-host bar for wine, beer and beverages.

In addition, there will be a display of many door prizes, which will be given away to winners who wish to purchase tickets in the opportunity drawing. Every door prize is valued around $100 and up.

At 7 p.m., the “Master of Ceremonies” Tom Arnold will take the stage to chat with attendees, and draw the winning door prize tickets.

Then at 8 p.m., take a “San Antonio Stroll” with country legend Tanya Tucker, a defining voice of country music since age 13 when she recorded her debut hit single “Delta Dawn.”

A Grammy nomination followed, launching Tucker into a resilient career marked by signature songs and her unforgettable sass and soul.

Prices for individual tickets range from $80 to $150, according to the Santa Clarita PAC Website.
