Sheriff’s Station officials said they briefly detained a man related to the reported incident, but it turned out he did not have a gun.

The incident was reportedly in lot 15 on the Valencia campus.

“We stopped a guy with two airsoft guns in the car,” said Lt. Tom Bryski of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. “He was having an argument with his girlfriend and someone thought they overheard something. It was a big nothing.”
