The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing person.
The missing person is known as Gavin Smith, a 57-year-old male white. He is described as 6 feet, 6 inches in height, weighing 210 pounds, with green eyes, blond-highlighted gray hair and a goatee. He has a five-inch scar on his calf and a four-inch scar on his inner right wrist.
He was last seen wearing purple pants and black and grey shoes. Smith has a black 2000 Mercedes 420E with padded storage racks on the roof and tinted windows, California license plate #6EKT044.

He was last seen at his residence on the 500 block of Callwood Court, in Oak Park between 9 and10 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1. He left in the above-described vehicle and has not been seen or heard from since. His family is very concerned and is also asking for the public’s assistance in locating Smith.
