City and Sheriff’s team up to help prevent crime.
In a free class this afternoon, the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s station joined with the City in teaching employees of local businesses how to lawfully sell and serve alcohol in their establishments.
Station personnel worked alongside the local California Department of Alcohol Beverage Control office to put on the class, and 85 people signed up to take part.
This is part of the City and the Sheriff’s ongoing efforts to add focus to crime prevention. Other classes have been held dealing with banking institutions.
