Deputies learned that the motorist, a 41 year-old Granada Hills woman, was driving southbound on Sierra Highway from Newhall Avenue when she noticed her ex-boyfriend following her. She sped up and the man, a 41-year old man from Lancaster, continued to follow her.
He pulled alongside her and yelled for her to pull over. The suspect suddenly veered his vehicle into the victim’s vehicle causing substantial damage and forcing her to drive off of the road. The suspect got out of his car and began walking toward the victim. The victim managed to drive away and turned back northbound on Sierra Highway, making her way to the Chevron Gas Station.
The suspect followed her and confronted her in the gas station parking lot where an argument ensued. Another man passing by intervened and told the suspect to leave the area. The man left as the victim called 9-1-1.
