The City of Santa Clarita is still in need of new shoes as part of the November shoe drive with the non-profit agency Soles4Souls Inc., which will benefit the Santa Clarita Winter Shelter and the locally based non-profit Single Mother’s Outreach.
City employee Susan Caputo is organizing the Santa Clarita shoe collection effort and hopes to donate hundreds of new pairs of shoes to both local non-profits just in time for the holidays. New shoes most in need are tennis shoes for children, women, and men in a variety of sizes.
