A Sigalert has been issued by the California Highway Patrol due to a jackknifed big rig and fuel spill blocking all lanes on the northbound side of Highway 14 at Escondido Canyon Road, forcing traffic to get by using the right shoulder.
The alert was issued just before 7AM and is expected to last at least one hour.
Commuters are advised to take Soledad Canyon or Sierra Highway northbound to either Red Rover Mine Road or Crown Valley Road and re-enter Highway 14 from there.
