Crews make quick work of ¼ acre fire

[view:node_ad=5]Los Angeles County Firefighters fought a fire off of the 14 freeway near Acton this afternoon.

 

The small fire burned ¼ acre, and was located about 1 mile south of Red Rover Mine Rd.

 

Light winds were reportedly blowing in the area, however the firefighters were able to knock down the fire before it became a problem.

 

Traffic was briefly slowed on the 14 freeway, but by 1:00pm, traffic was flowing at its regular speed.
