Among the many faces of social media, LinkedIn offers an opportunity to network with professionals across the nation, connect with potential clients and partners and contact vendors and service providers.

“The SBDC is pleased to offer a new training series involving LinkedIn,” said Steve Tannehill, for the executive driector of the Small Business Development Center.
“LinkedIn is an important multimedia tool that small business owners can use to grow their business,” Tannehill said, mentioning planning and networking as a few of the advantages.
“From my persepctive, it’s another tool in the toolkit, and it’s something that small business owners should know about,” Tannehill said.
This hands-on workshop taught by Stuart Fried, SBDC social media expert, will show participants how to effectively use LinkedIn to leverage an existing professional network and grow their business.
Admission is $35 per person in addition to $2 for parking. Participants should come prepared with a free LinkedIn account and profile already created.
