A report of a small plane crash in the area surrounding the community of Neenoch came into KHTS AM-1220 at approximately 1:45pm.

 

The Santa Clarita Sheriff’s department confirmed that a plane had gone down near Route 138 and 290^th Street.  The Fire Department was on the scene and attempting to extract the pilot who has been reported as alive but injured.

 

The area is mountainous and the responding deputies were having a hard time getting to the crash sight.  There is no confirmation on passengers or type of aircraft.
