Senior Center to be the venue.

In conjunction with the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center, Assemblyman Cameron Smyth is pleased to announce that they will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting entitled “Get to Know your Assemblyman” on May 5th, 10:30 a.m. at the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center.

“After my first few months in the Assembly, I thought it was appropriate to speak to the community regarding my early experience in the State Legislature.  I am looking forward to the event and discussing state related issues impacting Santa Clarita and seniors,” said Assemblyman Smyth.

The Assemblyman plans to address the crowd with an update on his first five months in office, his understanding and concerns regarding the state budget, a discussion on senior related issues, and finally a question and answer session. 

While the event is held at the Santa Clarita Senior Center and senior related issues will be discussed, the entire community is invited to this event.  Invitations were also sent to many community leaders throughout the City.

The Assemblyman also states, “I thank the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center for hosting me on May 5th.  I believe the talk will be informative and I encourage all interested residents to attend”.
