Soccer Game Nets $10K For Hoefflin Foundation

Last minute ticket sales play a big part in event's success.

[view:node_ad=5]Last Sunday, the Michael Hoefflin foundation put together an
exhibition game between professional soccer squads Chivas USA
and the Ventura Fusion.

The game was hosted at COC, with proceeds going to benefit
the Foundation, which helps battle childhood cancer.

While initial ticket sales were slightly lagging, the
Foundation said that a slew of soccer fans showed up to the game to buy their
tickets at the door. This outpouring resulted in a $10,000 net for Michael Hoefflin.

Hoefflin Executive Director Jeffery Shapiro was pleased with

"The event was wonderful," he said. "We are so thankful for
the community coming out and supporting us."
