Some Start New Year With Violence

Stabbing, shooting incidents hospitalize two.

[view:node_ad=5]An early morning domestic dispute turned ugly when a man was shot in Canyon Country.

According to Sgt. Ron Price with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Jose Campos was shot after attempting to defuse a domestic argument between Seserino Grajede and his live-in girlfriend, who is Campos’ daughter.

After Grajede pulled the trigger, he fled the scene, and was last seen driving a burgundy   Cadillac Escalade.

Sheriff’s officials also discovered that Grajede has several warrants out for his arrest with the LAPD.

Campos was transported to Providence Holy Cross where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The incident occurred at 4:50 a.m. at 18005 Grace Lane in Canyon Country.

And just after the New Year, a mysterious stabbing has local detectives looking for clues.

At roughly 1:30 a.m. Esteban German was found lying in a garage at a house party in Canyon Country bleeding from multiple stab wounds.

Sgt. Price says that investigators believe he went outside during the New Year’s Eve party and somehow became involved in an altercation with an unknown suspect(s). After being beaten and stabbed, German is believed to have dragged himself into the garage where he was found by relatives. He was transported to a local hospital.

Sgt. Price told KHTS that there were no witnesses to the crime, and investigators are trying to piece together the events now.
