Still No Suspects In Two SCV Murder Cases

Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives pouring over leads.

[view:node_ad=5]After two separate murders rocked Santa Clarita in less than
2 weeks, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are still hunting for
clues that can help identify suspects.

The first incident occurred on September 16th,
when 55 year old Anthony Lombardi was viciously shot to death in his driveway.  Lombardi operated an ATM business but Sheriff’s
Detectives have not officially determined if the business played any part in
his death.

A $20,000 reward has been promised by LA County for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person/people responsible.

And on Friday, September 26th, a man was shot and
killed during an attempted robbery in the middle of Lyons
Avenue at the Apple
Street intersection. The man was a passenger in a
white pickup truck, and he was shot after a man tried to rob him at gunpoint.
There was a struggle for the gun and the weapon discharged one bullet.

Homicide Lt. David Coleman told KHTS Thursday that they are
still pouring over the evidence, looking at video surveillance and pursuing
leads, but so far no suspects have been identified.
