A slew of traffic and street enhancements will be discussed during Tuesday’s regular City Council meeting. Creekside Road, Cedar Creek Street, Avenue Tibbitts and Newhall Ranch Road are all primed for improvements.
ENVIRON International Corporation will also be awarded a contract for $159,990 to prepare a Climate Action Plan for the City to comply with the State Assembly Bill 32, the Global Warming Solutions Act.
Other topics will include a public hearing and continuation of the Copperstone neighborhood annexation.

The city will also decide whether or not to approve a construction bid of $10,448,000 from Tobo Construction, Inc. for the completion of the Newhall Library.
This is the second time the library’s construction has gone through the bidding process. In that case, the city stopped discussions with contractors due to what the city deemed improper documentation.
