Stump The Politician Lets Kids Quiz Assemblyman Keith Richman

The second edition of “Stump The Politician” took place on October 24th at the KHTS Community Resource Station in the Valencia Town Center . The show, which aired live, let children from local elementary schools try to stump Assemblyman Keith Richman with the hardest questions they could come up with.

The show is available on demand now in the podcast section. "Stump The Politician" is brought to you by the Southern California Gas Company.

Assemblyman Richman, who was a doctor before his venture into politics, came armed with years of higher education that would surely put him in a good place to answer any question that could be asked of him. The children however, came prepared in their own right.

The 1st question of the show: “What was your first grade teacher’s name?”

“Uh…I don’t remember…you stumped me already!” Said Richman.

Kayce, a 4th grader from Sulphur Springs Elementary, decided to test his knowledge on cow anatomy: “How many stomachs does a cow have?” She asked.

“Two?” Said Richman.

“Nope, Four!”

“Well I’m a doctor, not a vet!” Said Richman as he laughed.

The show was a resounding success and a good opportunity for children in the area to get involved with government in a fun way.

Assemblyman Richman is in the last few months of his term, having reached the 6 year term limit serving this community in the State Legislature.
