Sulphur Springs Honor Band Plays Concert

Short concert displays student talent.

ImageWednesday afternoon, students from the Sulphur Springs School District Honor Band played a short concert for the public at the Westfield Valencia Town Center.

Along with the normal brass, wind and percussion instruments, was an electric guitar and full drum set.

In addition, two special guest students from the Saugus School District joined the band.

KHTS spoke with some students before the concert, and none of them confessed to being nervous. Maybe that’s because they’re well practiced. “I practice an hour every day, 7 days a week,” said one aspiring drum player.

KHTS broadcast the first three songs of the concert, and you can here those songs and the pre-concert interviews by clicking here . NOTE: The concert audio is after the interviews.
