The first ever Santa Clarita Home and Garden Show is set to take place on Saturday and Sunday in The Gateway Promenade in Valencia. With more than 71 local exhibitors, this event is sure to offer great ideas on innovative home improvement and give guests the opportunity to see the latest products and learn from the experts.

“If you are looking for any really great ideas for your house, [The Home and Garden Show] is such a fantastic environment to be in,” said Summer Baltzer of HGTV’s “Design On A Dime” and TLC’s “Unhinged.” Baltzer will be the special guest of the event and will be hosting multiple seminars on both days and will share her creative ideas on innovative home improvements.

Batzer will be teaching show attendees how to take indoor design concepts and design the outside to create beautiful living spaces in her seminar “Bringing the Indoors Out- Easy Outdoor Design” at 11 am on both days.

If you are interested in learning ways you can fashionably update the important rooms of your home, attend Baltzer’s seminar “Tips, Tricks, and Trends For the Complete Home” at 1 pm on both days of the show.

“This will help you inexpensively update and makeover those rooms so that you can develop the environment for your family that you really want to live.” said Baltzer of her Home and Garden seminar.

Baltzer studied architectural and interior design at the California State University of Northridge and is a licensed general contractor in California. She has been doing television makeovers and has worked with private clients on remodeling, updating, and decorating homes for the last 16 years.

“I try really hard to keep up on the trends, so I can offer something new to everybody.”
