One suspect in custody for elderly thefts.
Widely televised video footage and cooperative investigations have lead to the arrest of one of the individuals suspected of targeting senior citizens for theft as they shopped in the Santa Clarita Valley area.
The two suspects, Mishelle Nishee Burrell, FB/30, and Aesha Deshay Gibson, FB 24, of Lancaster are suspected of distracting elderly victims and stealing their wallets from their purses as they shopped.
