Suspects Lead Deputies Into Circus Tent For Arrest, One Still Outstanding

khts_crimeSheriff’s deputies have arrested two people – one man and one woman – and are looking for a third at the Westfield Valencia Town Center, in connection with a possible credit card theft from Best Buy on Bouquet Canyon Road.

The trio left Best Buy around 1:15 and deputies followed their black Dodge Charger into the mall parking lot, attempting to stop it along the way, but the vehicle refused to yield.

The suspect car was found in a handicap space outside Sears; the three occupants apparently ran from the vehicle and into the mall. They disbursed in different directions, leading deputies on a search through the food court and JCPenney.

Two of the suspects were taken into custody inside a tent erected in the parking lot for the visiting Circus Vargas and have been positively identified by the Best Buy manager.

The third suspect, described as a male black adult, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans, is still at large.

Investigators at the scene have impounded the suspect vehicle, which reportedly contains additional stolen property and possibly other credit cards or fake IDs.
