Sweetheart Gala Held To Benefit Cardiac Services At Henry Mayo

Linda and Moe Hafizi, publishers of Magazine of Santa Clarita and Elite Magazine, will be the guests of honor at the sixth annual Sweetheart Gala, which is being held Feb. 9 at the Hyatt Regency Valencia.

The event is a fundraiser to benefit cardiac services at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital.

Linda Hafizi has been involved as chair of the Henry Mayo Foundation for the last 10 years.

The event is put on by the SCV Men and Women of Honor, and admission is $150. VIP tickets are $250.

“The event is held in February because it’s Heart Health Month,” Linda Hafizi said. “They recently expanded the cardiac unit. We support the hospital heavily,” she added.

“One day, we might need the services (of Henry Mayo), you never know,” Linda Hafizi said. “So we want to make sure it’s the best.”

Henry Mayo is a 238-bed, not-for-profit community hospital and trauma center, according to the hospital’s website. Henry Mayo’s affiliated medical staff is comprised of physicians whose expertise ranges across more than 71 specialties and subspecialties.

Table sponsorship is still available for the Sweetheart Gala. The event is black-tie optional.

Those interest in purchasing tickets or table sponsorship should call 818-599-0011, or email scvwomenandmenofhonor@gmail.com
