T-Bo’s House Of BBQ Ready To Open In Canyon Country

T-Bo’s smokehouse barbecue eatery is a new venture for long-time local educators and business owners, Tim and Donna Borruel, the team behind Sunshine Child Care and Legacy Christian Academy in Santa Clarita.

The restaurant will feature an on-premise meat smoker and five popular styles of barbecue from across the nation, including Kansas City, North Carolina, Texas, Alabama and California favorite, Santa Maria tri-tip.
Located on Soledad Canyon Road in Canyon Country, the owners plan to open in mid-May.

T-Bo’s House of BBQ has selected Great Day Advertising as its first ad agency of record. Great Day will be responsible for all of the new restaurant’s traditional and interactive advertising.

“Things just immediately clicked with Great Day and we know they’ll bring us the fresh thinking we need to optimize our marketing efforts and build our business,” said Donna Borruel.

“It’s very exciting to work with such outstanding people as Tim and Donna Borruel,” said Michael Niles, president of Great Day Advertising. T-Bo’s House of BBQ perfectly exemplifies that kind of opportunity with an ownership team willing to innovate in order to build their business.”

As Santa Clarita residents since 1983, Tim and Donna Borruel say that they are “committed to bringing the same levels of quality, passion and excellence to T-Bo’s House of BBQ that has defined their years as local educators.”

The Borruels have owned and operated Sunshine Child Care and Legacy Christian Academy since 1983. Together they have built their schools from a single location to an extraordinary level of academic achievement and business success.  Their commitment to enhancing the educational experience of local children has culminated in Legacy being named the outstanding private school in Santa Clarita.
