Seven juveniles were arrested Tuesday night on suspicion of felony vandalism.
According to Sgt. Richard Nagler of the Santa Clarita Valley station, the group, all young men, were tagging surfaces in the area of Rue Crevier in Canyon Country.
Detectives estimate the damage between $10,000-$12,000. The juveniles were all cited and released to their parents.

According to the California Penal Code, a conviction on charges could mean the juveniles face significant fines and possibly imprisonment. In addition, if the juvenile is unable to pay the fines, parents can be held liable for their child’s actions.
