Suspect arrested may be responsible for several more tagging incidents.
A quick-thinking employee in Canyon Country helped deputies take a habitual tagger off the streets Monday.
Deputies responded to a business in the 18700 block of Soledad Canyon Road where the employee was detaining a youth who was caught writing tagging monikers on a bathroom mirror in the building.
Upon investigation, it was discovered that the 13-year-old white boy may be responsible for at least seven other incidents of vandalism and tagging, which have resulted in $3,000 worth of damages. The other incidents occurred on bridges, overpasses, sidewalks, bike paths, windows and other structures near Whites Canyon Road, Camp Plenty Road, Luther Drive and Soledad Canyon Road, some as early as Jan. 14.
