When they arrived and checked the area, they found fresh graffiti covering a cinder block wall.  The deputies saw three youths standing near the wall and attempted to contact them.   The three youths immediately ran from the deputies and reportedly dropped a spray paint can.  Two of the youths, both male Hispanics age 16, were apprehended nearby on Marcasite Lane.

They were booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station on felony vandalism charges.  They were later released to their parents on citations pending future court proceedings.  The third youth, described as a male Hispanic age 16-18, is still outstanding.
