A Taxi Cab caught fire in the parking lot in front of Canyon High School just before noon today. The fire fully engulfed the car and is believed to have started in the hood.

According to Deputy Barretto, stationed at Canyon High, no one was injured in the fire. The fire alarm went off at the school and students were relocated to other areas of the campus, although the fire never reached anything other than the taxi.

The taxi was damaged beyond repair.
