Victim had just met with high school buddies before shooting.

Bryan Miranda, 18, was talking with his friend, Jose Valdez, 18, outside a house on the 24100 block of Arch Street just after midnight Sunday when he was killed in a drive-by shooting that also injured Valdez.

According to Homicide Lt. Dave Smith, the pair were the last of a group of 10 high school friends who got together Saturday night at the house. They were about to leave when a brown Camry came down the street. Occupants in the Camry opened fire, killing Miranda and wounding Valdez, who remains hospitalized.
