A unique opportunity to hear nationally-known psychotherapist Stacy Kaiser is open to parents of teens Wednesday nighta at “Teen Scene Unplugged.”
The event, which is free, begins at 6 p.m. on the campus of Golden Valley High School. Expected to attend are hundreds of parents and their teens, 19 non-profit organizations, and guest speakers including Councilmember Laurene Weste and Councilmember Frank Ferry.
Teen Scene Unplugged draws more than 500 community members annually and continues to increase in popularity. This year’s theme, “Navigating the Teenage Years,” will confront sensitive issues that teens face everyday.

The free event includes a resource fair with 19 local organizations, insightful information for teens and parents, and a presentation from nationally known speaker, author, and psychotherapist Stacy Kaiser. Kaiser will discuss the 10 things every parent needs to know about raising a successful young adult
Teen Scene Unplugged will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14 at Golden Valley High School, 27501 Robert C. Lee Parkway. Admission is free.
