Now is the time to start practicing your hand-eye coordination for a good cause.
The Paseo Club in Valencia will be hosting the first “Rally for Education” tennis tournament on Saturday, October 8 to benefit the Santa Clarita Valley Education Foundation.
The tournament is in a round-robin format and is open to public participation. Immediately following the tournament, a reception to acknowledge the winners with trophies and honor the participation of all players with swag bags will be held at the Paseo Club.
Tickets to participate in the games are priced at $75.00 per player while tickets to the reception only are $20.00 a person.
Proceeds will be donated to the SCV Education Foundation and will allow children to receive help with literacy skills and aid teachers in purchasing needed school materials.
Along with participating in the tournament and providing aid to education, the purchase of your ticket will also include two free drink tickets and appetizers at the event.
All skill levels are encouraged to participate in one of three divisions; pro, intermediate and beginner.
The tournament only has 48 spots available and participants must be 18 or older. To register or find out more information about “Rally for Education” visit the SCV Education Foundation website.
